AIGCL Tournament Gains Support from Top Indian Political and Social Leaders

In a series of high-profile meetings, a distinguished delegation from the All India Gaming & Cultural League (AIGCL) met with several prominent leaders to formally extend invitations for the upcoming AIGCL Tournament, aimed at promoting sportsmanship, cultural engagement, and youth empowerment across India.

The delegation was led by Bhagwan Talware, Director of AIGCL, Sushma Udyawer Pandey, Chairperson of AIGCL, and Deepak Chawla, Director of AIGCL, showcasing the leadership’s collective commitment to advancing the league’s mission.

The AIGCL team first met with Honourable Ramdas Athawale, president of the Republican Party of India (Athawale) and a long-standing social activist, who has been advocating for social equality and workers’ rights since 1999. Honourable Athawale warmly received the invitation and appreciated the league’s efforts in empowering youth and fostering community engagement.

The delegation also met with Honourable Ujjwal Deorao Nikam, renowned for his work as a special public prosecutor on high-profile murder and terrorism cases. Honourable Nikam praised AIGCL’s commitment to nurturing talent and supporting initiatives that bring together diverse communities.

The delegation further engaged with Honourable Raksha Khadse, Minister of State in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, who encouraged initiatives that inspire young athletes and enhance India’s sporting culture.

Additionally, the team interacted with Honourable Sushil Choudhary, former Rajya Mantri (Minister of State) in the Government of India, who applauded AIGCL’s efforts in creating inclusive platforms for talent development and youth engagement.

The AIGCL team also received wishes and blessings from Ravi Pandit, former cricketer, who extended his support and appreciation for the tournament, though he did not accompany the delegation.

Speaking after the meetings, Bhagwan Talware highlighted that the AIGCL Tournament aims to provide an inclusive platform for emerging talent while fostering teamwork, discipline, and social responsibility among youth. Chairperson Sushma Udyawer Pandey emphasized that the organization is committed to meaningful engagement with communities and promoting national integration through sports and cultural events. Director Deepak Chawla added that AIGCL is dedicated to organizing events that blend competition with learning and cultural enrichment.
